Rec Park Shooting

STATUS: OPENOn Tuesday, August 11th, 2026 at approximately 9:45am, Pampa Emergency Communications received a 9-1-1 call of a shooting at Recreation Park, located in the 1600 Blk of E Hwy 60, in Pampa. Pampa Police Department and other first responders arrived on scene and began treating a 48-year-old male who had been shot. The suspect was no longer on scene.
Investigators are searching for the white SUV shown below, possibly a Ford Edge, in connection with this case. If located, do not approach or attempt to apprehend. Call 9-1-1.

Hit and Run- 800 block E Browning, Pampa

STATUS: IN CUSTODYOn Friday, July 3rd, 2026 at 11:00 p.m., Pampa Police were dispatched to the 800 block of East Browning Ave in reference to a hit and run crash involving a dark colored vehicle and a bicyclist. Through the preliminary investigation, Officers learned that a dark-colored vehicle struck the bicyclist at the intersection of Hazel and Browning, and then continued eastbound on Browning at a high rate of speed, leaving the area without stopping.
The bicyclist was severely injured and transported to an Amarillo hospital for treatment.
